ENGN 1840 - Numerical Methods in Engineering
Numerical analysis techniques related to solving systems of linear algebraic equations, matrix eigenvalue problems, nonlinear equations, polynomial approximation and interpolation, numerical integration and differentiation, ordinary and partial differential equations. Programming in Matlab. Pre-req: CSCI 0040 or equivalent, knowledge in Matlab, ENGN 0040, APMA 0330 + 0340 or equivalent.
