Covers scaling laws for physicochemical properties, synthesis routes, manipulation and characterization tools, and example applications in sensors, composites, advanced energy devices, and nanomedicine. Impacts of nanomaterials on environment and health, including the interactions between nanoscale structures and biological molecules, cells, and whole organisms.
