This classes focuses on advanced computer architecture concepts, including super-scalar processor design, out-of-order execution, branch prediction, multi-core processors, memory hierarchy consistency, GPU architectures, and architecture of large-scale systems such as data centers and supercomputers. Class work expected to include HWs, Labs, and projects. Prerequisite: ENGN 1640 or permission of instructor.
