ECON 1360 - Health Economics |
This course introduces students to the issues, theory and practice of health economics in the US. Topics include the economic determinants of health, the market for medical care, the market for health insurance and the role of the government in health care. Course work includes data analyses using the program STATA. Pre-requisites: ECON 1110 or ECON 1620, or other statistics background; plus permission of instructor. Enrollment limited to: 24.
